I always go w/ the same 3 guys, Me, Myself, & I. Headed out right now. Got good company. Has anyone else noticed the more outrageous, spectacular fishing/ hunting events occur when your unaccompanied? This season only one friend and his buddy have bothered to fish, more for me i guess.

When I lived in Illinois, had a fishing buddy that I used to go out with.
Used to go soft water fishing with him at least 2 times a month.
Used to plan a week long trip for walleyes every summer, somewhere in the U.S. or Canada.
He never liked to ice fish cause he was fat and lazy.
Now I moved to Wisconsin, got a ATV.
Love the different lakes to explore up here.
Though I miss the companionship, I find it meeting other people on the ice.
Life is too short to depend on people.
Maybe I’ve become more of a loner as I get older.
