I'm from Auburn, New York so I have Owasco lake at my beckon call. My dilemma is that I love to fish for walleye but can't ever seem to put one one the ice. Is there anyone out there who could offer me some help as to what depths to fish, what lures to jig with, or what size bait to use. I have been using both med. size Swedish pimples tipped with a bass minnow or just a bass minnow on a tip up set about three to six inch. off bottom. I have also been fishing the north end of the lake if that helps.
