In-Fisherman Ice Fishing guide?
« on: Oct 16, 2009, 06:09 PM »
Is In-Fisherman doing a guide this year? I've found links to the tv show but I can't find a link. I always enjoy the guide to get pumped for the season.

In fisherman's (primedia) site to purchase the ice guide online is a joke. You either have to call and order or find it in the store.

I just picked up the new ice guide at wally world. The Reed's catalog is thicker than the 2010 IF Ice Guide. In fisherman's magazines and guides keep getting thinner and the articles are basically repeats. Thats why I let my Infisherman subscription run out. I wish the F&W ice mags were easier for me to find.

I got it, I did a series recording from last year and it picked it up this year on the same channel.  I have it going on FS Detroit but I think that only works in Michigan.  I also saw it on the sportsman channel if you have that.  I'm sure if you search it up on google you'll find all the information you need.  Hope that helps

I've been looking for that magazine for the last little while, I have never thrown one out yet, I just pull them all out when it starts to cool off, read it all over again then I'm pumped for the season.

I will need to check the stores tomorrow. Seems very early to be out already this year. Possibly since it cooled down early this year they pushed it out to get people in the mood to buy stuff.

AMEN BROTHER!! Maybe even three issues, one early, one late and one in July. The one in July could have more build it yourself and trip planing information.

I looked at the store where I usally buy the guide, :'( It wasn't there  :'( either I need to look elsewhere or it hasn't come here yet.

I got it the other day at Wally World. Did you guys notice the differense in pricing for Reeds and the prices in the magazine??? I can't see how they can be so much cheeper at Reeds. I am going to be buying some stuff from them this year.

There are some really good articles in there for the Walley and Pike fisherman.
If fishing was work I'd never be sick!

Found it at Walmart this weekend myself. Since the sale of In-Fisherman, it hasn't been the same.
Just got the next video in the series, Preditors on ice. Douge Stange and Gord Pyzer start out and 2 contributing editors finish it up. Not a bad video. Since the show is on premiume cable I don't get to see it.

I would check with the local drug stores first.  I always seem to find it at Kinney's before anywhere else.  With that said, I'm afraid to go and get it so soon!  I really don't want to go and get all excited too soon....

Someone posted a number last year that we could call and order the magazine. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd search for that post.
