Title: ION G2 Composite bit 8” adapter
Post by: Fishwacker1 on Feb 27, 2021, 05:22 PM
I picked one up for dirt cheap new in box. I’d like to use it with my Milwaukee. I contacted ardisam asking if the pistol bit adapter works in it and they told me no. I’m pretty sure they are the same except for the color green vs red.
Anyone have a link to an aftermarket part that is known to work and fit.

I cannot confirm that the Pistol Bit adapter works with the 8", but it certainly does with the new 10".

I ended with the deep freeze quick connect system from DTRO video. I can confirm that the pistol bit adapter works with the 8” Ion G2 composite bit.  Hopefully this will help others when the auger becomes more popular.
