The report board at Sportsman's says folks are getting pike in the Causeway, any one here able to verify? Not surprised I guess, just wondering if there's any truth to it. Wouldn't mind crossing it off my to-do list locally instead of making a drive to Seeley or where ever. Thanks y'all!

They're there, just few and far between, haven't caught one, but have heard of them being caught. Ive heard fwp gets them in their net surveys on canyon ferry.
-
I don't know about "getting" pike, but I do know that one was caught right at the causeway here recently
And like meandcuznalfy said they are out there but in what numbers?
I have seen and caught them in the Hauser chain with increasing regularity, but so far only in open water

How regularly are you catching them?

Never saw them myself, but allegedly, FWP has pulled several very large ones in their nets in the silo's area over the last several years. If they at the silo's they are at the Causeway.
-
Have seen a couple caught while trolling for trout near the silos. I know they are around but not sure there
are really any numbers to justify targeting them. fun to catch by accident anyway. I personally like them being
around but also understand why people don't want them. It is what it is.

Three years ago I got 1 small one at York bridge, 2 years ago was 1 at spokane creek and 1 up the causeway arm
Last year was 1 above York 1 below the dam with another lost at dam
I Buddy of mine that owns a cabin in the causeway arm has been catching a couple (3-6) for last couple years normally in September

Seems like the population is growing then.

That's probably the largest that I have heard of out of the Hauser chain. NICE. You release it?

I kept it. It’s mounted on my wall. Let the ribbing begin.
-
Nah it is understandable, I was hoping to catch it my self with a few extra pounds

I'd have done the same thing.

No ribbing from this end, fish of a lifetime sounds like, got any photos of that one.

There are more big ones in there! I’ll try and post some pics of it tomorrow.
