Makes me cold just looking at that.  I could see that repeated in spots along the west shore.

Is there any public Access on the east side? We've only fished here once and got wet last year trying to get on.

Lot of info in the last 2 pages man.
The angle of the dangle is directly proportionate to the heat of the beat.

How much snow on the lake

2-3" shorelines are all wet though. I'd suggest carrying your sled over the wet stuff for an easier drag.

I have no real conditions report as no idea what lake looks like today.  My son lives up near on West mountain and they got 17" snow. I'm 2 hrs South of schroon and got about the same but heavy wet.
The weather certainly threw a hardball,  again no matter how things are.

If I was a tournament guy,  I'd suck it up and be out there trying as I do anyway.
There is access I'm sure, and ice to support fishing.  It's just being smart and staying safe.
SPUD !!! Bring it !!
Hope folks have fun and catch some nice fish !!

Fished yesterday out from boat launch plenty of ice. Edges are getting beat up. Did not see any fish caught around our area. 4 flags. Heard of 1 big pike being caught.

I think it sucks all those 24, 25, 26in fish get entered into the derby. On the second day.  Especially after the first day when bigger fish have already been entered.  Between my friend and I we caught I think 14 lakers. Only 1 over 18".

Probably a good thing this event is not as popular as it once was.  Heard today only 300 registered, used to be 700-800 or more.
