Webster Lake
« on: Mar 09, 2009, 08:12 AM »
This past Sat. I decided to take a trip to visit my brother on Webster Lake with a friend and do some fishing. The weather was so not our typical ice fishing conditions with enjoyable sunshine transferring our winter tans to pre-summer burns... However the fishing made up for the days ending pain. We brought with us 6 dozen shiners(because we were hitting the Lake Buel derby Sunday) and good thing we did. We ended up coming home with only 8 shiners out of them all. The flaggs started flying up early and stayed consistant all day. We ended up icing prob 30 fish on tips all together, slime darts(17"-21"range), Large mouth bass(1-3 1/2lb range), with some tiny gills and crappie mixed in. Can hardly waite to really hit it up a couple times next year. The ice was only about 6" but going fast. Great time with my brother and friend!

Brother with first fish of the day.

Buddie with another small bass.

Me with a slime dart.

Lunch

Nice double.

Another nice crappie

Then even when my buddie was ready to call it quits at the end of the day and decided to take a snooze, the fish still had other ideas...
