Yeah, the edge is going to start getting pretty sketchy. There was already a small area of open water against the bank south of the lighthouse. I might be there tomorrow as well. Can't catch em if you don't drill em

It's like the dead sea, and was this past summer as well. I personally do not think lake will be worth a chit until summer 2017 based on recent sein reports.

Thanks daryl! I meant the gill neting  , words just weren't coming to mind at the moment. Report pretty much confirms me hunch, been fishing this lake for years now and two years ago was indeed dynamite!

I was out yesterday (Thursday)  just to look around.  Talked to 2 guys that fishing out a little ways east of Boy Scout Island.  They had no luck and said the ice was 6-8 inches thick.  Looks iffy.  Take Care  Be Safe
