Title: Welcome Ice Duels Tournament Challenge
Post by: Iceshanty on Oct 18, 2013, 06:11 AM: Ice Duels (http://www.iceduels.com/) will be sponsoring the MN, WI, and SD boards. Ice Duels is the worlds first and only, One on One, Double Elimination Ice Fishing Tournament. Match fishing on Ice, this tournament puts to rest the question of who the best angler is, on any given day. Fast-Unique-Fun. Pre-drilled holes, in an arena consisting of 50-60 “courts”. Anglers engaged in back to back, 30 minute “duels”. Earning points for every fish caught and released back into the waters. Winners advance to the next round of competition and two time losers get sent packing. The sweet 16, the great 8 and the final 4 are worthy goals. The final “Duel” is the pinnacle and the title of Last Angler Standing is the ultimate reward. Do you have what it takes?

We have been planning this since early 2012 and are excited to finally be going live with the tournaments. Our goal is to have several state and regional events leading to a national finals in the very near future.

Its a great idea for a tournament and should be really popular.

OOOOOps...this was started last year when we weren't doing any in MT...I forgot to list the MT one this year, Smith Lake Kalispell, MT Jan 11th...
