Caved to pressure....Monday for me now too.  Screw work.

Im already feeling some nausea coming for next wed or thursday night  :roflmao: Need to maximize this week as the long range looks disastrous. Will be 3rd year in a row we will have a week of rain and 40+ degree weather for my birthday (26th)   >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

I'll be there Sunday - Tuesday hopefully it won't be too much of a zoo. Weather is looking great, maybe bump into a few of y'all!

What did you find there?

I stepped off onto ice and went threw! Luckily it’s shallow there at beach , only in about 15” water

If the long range calls for cold, ice fishermen disregard it and complain they never get the forecast right.  If the long range calls for moderate temps, those same guys treat the forecast like gospel!
Saw forecast for a complete smokeshow Monday

Can anyone let me know if Rogers Rock is fishable?  Thinking of going there for the first time Sunday and was going to park at the campground. Is that possible? Any info would be appreciated.

Just for a few laughs - I was out yesterday north of the Village and a "herd" of ATV riders came up to me and asked how thick ice was.  I laughed and said "it varies".  They said they wanted to ride the entire length of the lake on Saturday.  I told them you are going to need a bigger boat.  Hope they listened to me.

Look up a few posts before yours and this was the report from yesterday

I stepped off onto ice and went threw! Luckily it’s shallow there at beach , only in about 15” water
Goin' where the wind don't blow so strange,
Maybe off on some high cold mountain chain.

Any updates on the walking conditions out of vets? id assume its all hardened up. Deciding if I need to bring my smitty or not, also was curious if anyone has been venturing out around the point to crown. PM me if have any info.  I havnt been able to fish the past 2 weeks because the ice and snow dropped all them powerlines and I had to work.  ::)

Easy drag... I was there dark to dark today...no one around the point...thin ice I assume.  I was one of the farthest ones out, only 3.5".  Open water steaming like hell this morning East if the island.  Good luck.
I'd rather be fishing...

Ice was about 7 inches between the 2 bubblers walking out. But yes easy drag. Got up to nearly 10 where I fished but wasn’t too far out. Quiet bite though.

Don't know where he got the info but I checked it Friday and it wasn't ready. Guys fished yesterday but from what I heard big crack opened up. I fished it today. 2.5"-5" but was losing ice and sheriff told us we couldn't park there as it's the snow plow turn around. Landed 4, lost two and missed a couple.

Usually they have signs indicating snowplow turnarounds.... and no parking because of such

I'm not saying they're biting on Brant.  But they probably are
