I'd be heading to seymore, but have to head out of town that weekend. Leave it up to a woman to make plans on the opener of trout season. Might have to stay up there for a week after that.

Was looking forward to getting the shanty and fishing on Caspian but with the amount of water on the lake and these warm temps in not so sure about that. $:-\$

I've only ever fished around the access, not sure where wolf's point is...

I'm going to be up there around 3-4 in the morning Saturday to fish all day for lakers/smelt and maybe into the evening for some burbot.

I'm going to miss opening day $:-\$

But I took Monday off to compensate!! I not sure where yet, our shanty is still in the driveway... I'm hopeful that we will have good, safe ice & that I can put our shanty on either St. Catherine or Dunmore..!!!

ill be on dunless for the weekend less for fishing and more for the drinking! I really want to target walleyes this season. finless, maybe we could hook up and go?

I was going to tent on the ice at lake willoughby, but after learning that their ice went yesterday not sure that is going to happen. Maybe I'll get my boat out instead. My plan is to try for smelt and burbot then use it as laker bait. Do be careful on any ice that is still out there.
