I used to have half my gear for pike the other half for trout or walleye.....the past couple of years I have only fished for pike.  I find it more fun the way they can keep running.  Trout seem to tire easier.

Prefer pike but will fish for anything. I will admit there is something addicting about fishing both the river and champlain- you just never know what you are going to hook into!

Love jigging for perch, but also like fishing with tipups (Pike and the occasional Bass). One of these days I'm going to
target eye's with the tipups...
