1/6/10 Sandbar, AKA the Dead sea.

[northern nightmare]

Well I worked an overnight and decided to hit the sandbar today to check my usual spot for our shanty. I hope that they bit in the morning because by the time i got there and set up by 11:00, 3 hours later i only had 2 flags. one 26" northern and a very chunky 4lb Largemouth. Usually this time of year is hot at the sandbar, not really sure what is so diffrent this year.

ive heard its been very slow up there so far for pike i dont get it last year i burned threw six dozen shiners up there it was great late ice especially that day the truck went threw there
