Don't forget that Valentines day is next Saturday. I forgot it once......ONCE!!!!! Don't need to say anything else on that subject...LOL

Probably won't en see the wife that day. I have a kids derby to attend that day and the wife works at night and wakes up around noon. By that time I'll be on the ice. She goes to work at 3, the same time the derby ends. Guess a card candy and flowers by the coffee pot and I'll see her sunday.

I know I will be fishing I think we are having some sort of get-together/derby thing for this day. My wife will understand and if not my shanty is big enough to sleep in...

best V-day date i ever had was with a 10 pound largemouth.

Probably wont do much for this V-day because we just got married three weeks ago.

Thats the good thing about being single! I can fish whenever I want, and I dont have to buy candy or flowers. I get to save that money for fishing stuff. which I probably would do even if I had a girl. (which is probably why Im single)

It's a paper holiday

Been married almost 18 years, and I garantee she knows I love her !!! I treat her right and get my stuff done when needed and she doesn't give me a hard time about hunting or fishing. It takes work on BOTH sides and when done right it's nice.

working all day saturday and fishing with her all day sunday, guaranteed she will out fish me, and ask me how come she does so well when im the one spending 3 days on the ice EVERY week.

34 yrs here,flowers a card,then ask her if she wants to go fishing , she'll tell me no way ,you want to go,go get out my hair so I can get some thing done around house......
