Doug, I have a catalytic heater and used last year and had no problems with low oxygen. I have a cabela's do it your self shanty and that heater is to small it will not heat it to the point that you are sweating but it will keep the extreme cold off and I have stayed in my shanty until the one pound bottle ran out.
