Mr buddy heaters are not vent free..they need a vent, and the tighter your place the more conscentrated the fumes. Remember, Carbon Monoxide is colorless and orderless and builds up over time. A direct vent heater is the best for permanent fish houses, with a small vent free second best.
I like the Eskabe Vent free heater, personally.
