Does anyone ever use an underwater camera? If so I would like to make my own. Does anyone have the plans for it? I know you can by them cheap, but I would rather buy them off a fellow ice fisherman. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I build one on my own for about $120.00.
Not too tough. Bought a Infrared Camera for $80.00. It has 12 LEDS for dark viewing. It can see about 30 feet in total darkness. Hooked it up to a 12v TV and duffle bag for carrying. Email me if you need some details.

HI DMAN ,,,,,, WELL ,WE LOST OUR ICE HERE IN S.E. IOWA BUT I'M STILL IN THE MOOD.GOT ME A VEX.FL-18 & ONLY GOT TO USE IT TWICE..BUT COLD WEATHER IN THE FORECAST.ALMOST GOT THE CAM.BUT DUE WATER CLEARITY IN THIS PART OF THE COUNTRY I CHOOSE THE FLASHER.MUST SAY I LOVE IT....BUT BEING A TINKER THE THOUGHT OF BUILDING A CAM. SOUNDS NEET .CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE YOU BOUGHT YOUR CAM & MONITOR?WHILE LOOKING AT THE CAM.IN SCHEELS STORE ,SALESMAN TOLD ME REPLACEMENT CAM WAS $175,,,,,,THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME,,& GOOD FISH'N
