When I go ice fishing, I like to prepare as much as I can at home. By using aluminum foil it makes it all possible. Less mess and not much to clean up. That's what I like! With these recipes all you have to throw away from the meal preparation, when out on the ice, is the aluminum foil.

I like to use a cast iron skillet for heating up the food. Whether the food be in aluminum foil or right in the pan itself.
