  With the exception of baitfish, maggotts and worms are sold in the health related field to help fight off infections, there also sold in agriculture related fields as a natural combatant against other damaging insects and fungus, it's hard to think we use them for icefishing and they serve so many uses! Thats why the prices might change from year to year during the ice season. The field of raising these baits as we know them is called Verminology.
