d**n I've looked everywhere for them
So have I, last year......I talked to the owner of Johnson's Sporting Goods in Rockland and he said they weren't making them anymore.... :'(..........If I can get over there I might be able to get you some.....the other choice is cork board from Wal-Mart or any fabric store and a little waterproof glue.....

Beans has these nylon straps that go around the spool and have a grommet to hold the hook. They are nice, but a bit pricey at $14 for 5. I am going to make my own based on the design at beans.

My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and it's price competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.

I use a rubber band to hold the hook secure when not in use.  :)

I just printed up the packaging for them for Kineo Flies,so I would think he has them if you're fishing up around Moosehead any time soon.

I wrap the rubber band around twice and they are tight. They do only last about one season.......but since i bought a 1/4 lb bag for about a dollar i should be good for about 20 years........and from what im hearing these hook ums arent bulletproof either.  :)

I agree--i always  used hookem's until this year. Now i use rubber bands hook it onto the hook, wrap it around the spool and attach the other end to the knob on the reel!!!!
It's not the size that matters! Wait, yeah it is!!!!!!
