magrath pond(pics)

hit up magrath pond today with my parents, girlfriend, and her 2 daughters. the morning was the best time, but the whole day was kinda slow in general. my parents caught one brookie, the rest of the fish caught were pickeral, 4 fish in all with a few chew and screws. little chilly, but over all it was a great day to be out on the ice. thank god the wind didn't pick up.

we got on where the rec. field is on the magrath pond road. we were pretty much right on the corner as you got out on the pond, had a couple chairs and my ice cube set up.

Okay, i know where you were.  We were at the other corner.  Good day and my 10 yr old daughter had fun.  Limited out on brookie, biggest 14".  Although. . .she was getting inpatient waiting for the last one to bite.  She wanted to be with her girlfriends.  Well, it won't be long before she will want to be with her boyfriend.  I can't believe how fast they grow up.

She was driving the sled out around 11:30 and i was on the dogsled holding the auger.

we got out there about 8:30 and left about 3:30. more flags woulda been nice, but all in all a pretty nice day to be out.
