Don't like the plastic spools as well as the metal spools. Anyone know where to get metal ones?

Heritage traps being built in Eddington by the owner of Peavey Manufacturing now.  Check with them.  Don't have the number, should be in the book.

I just called the makers of the Heritage traps and they told me if they can get enough people who want the metal spools they would consider buying some for those who want them .
Hang out with the kids or go fishing......Can I take the kids out fishing?

I know a few people that would like to get some. Did they say how many spools they would need to get before they would make an order.

OMG. I mentioned customizing tip-ups to suit the user on another thread and got blasted for it. Some of the smaller shops like Burnie's in Lewiston carry tip-up parts. I don't know if he has any for the heritage traps or that will fit a heritage.

To be honest I have found no problem with the "plastic" spools.
I have 5 with the metal and they stay home when I go.... :-\
