Sportfisher rod

Yesterday I caught a sportfisher rod with a reel on it.  The rod looks about 20 years old and the reel is I dont even know how old.  Anyone know when the rod was made?? By the way it is an icefishing rod

I remember K-Mart stores selling some Sportfisher brand rods in the late 70's early 80's.

Yes it is from k mart it says made for k mart on it.
