awesome on walleyes and I also have luck with perch.  Take a smaller one and put a dropper chain on it for perch and it works great.  The walleyes love em after dark.  Beat the crap out of the bottom for about 30 seconds when you jig and then hold em steady and dead stick em for 20 seconds or so about a foot off the bottom.  then start over.

I learned about them on Upper Red lake and have used them ever since.

When all else fails for walleye the buckshot rattle spoon is my go to bait for the past 4 years now........when nothing else is working the buckshot always comes through.   My tip is to place one perch minnow on each hook of the treble.  Three perch minnows hooked thru the eyes and left dangling.  No need for a lot of jigging more of  a jiggle and then hang on............95% of my walleye come on them....

I also use them for perch and crappie......just vary the size of the spoon for the fish you're trying to catch........

Good fishing

Dan

Absolutely my "go to" lure for walleye and perch.
