i am looking for a big spool or spools (150 yards) of braided woodstock ice fishing line in 36 pound test and in black........i can find it in green or white, but not black.......any help would be appreciated......i checked kittery, walmart only carries white, and a few other small stores.......i wish i could order straight from the factory, but it doesn't look like they sell to the indivdual ice fisherman just dealers........i know the county store in milford sells it when they get their ice fishing gear in stock, but i don't know if they have black......thanks

when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways

    Hey Jibbs,

I have previously seen the black stuff over at Wildlife in Manchester but I think its only 18lb? I have used it for the bass for years and have never had a problem. Maybe with a larger lakers or pike?

Did you try checking with Donnie at Merrimac he might be able to help ya out?

Most any smaller bait/tackle shop can special order it for you.  Especially if they already carry some of Woodstock's other products.  Just just have to ask whoever is in charge of ordering.

Does this line stiffen up fast or is it pretty flexible in cold weather? This might be the line I use this season, thanks for the info.

Guy I talked to at KTP yesterday said the stuff they had out was last years stuff and they were waiting for more. I was lookin for green 36#, all they had on hand was sand. He assured me they were getting green and also black this year and that it was coming. He made it a point to tell me he ordered the black because of requests.
