;)  The "Buzz Stix", Cabelas has them.  I ordered three for the boys and me for Christmas.  I think the vibrating action will work with very light jigs at a shallow depth but forget heavier jigs at any great depth.  I think the stix will work great for perch, crappie etc at 5-10 feet.  I've been mainly salmon and trout fishing the year.

I see them at Gander Mountain, and have checked out the "vibro-action".  They just might turn on the occasional panfish.  I'm just not sure that the 40 plus bucks for the rod/reel combo is worth it.  Seems a little gimmicky to me.  That little motor has to puke out sooner or later.  Then you are left with a cheesy combo that you have to vibrate the old fasioned way. ;D

I tried one out at fleetfarm. Kinda spendy and I dont think the action will transmit down to the jig too far.
Wonder how the battery life will be at zero also ::)
