I like the bait shop too, all the scenes on the ice including the shanty attack and fight. Oh yeah! also where the old man is offered a beer at his shanty, he grabs the five beers, says keep the change and slams the door of his shanty..

I would also have to say all of the above. I have a hard time choosing because I love the entire movie but if I had to chose one it would have to be the shack attack.

Yup, Burgess Meredith might well have been the funniest person in that movie.  Really an unsung hero

definitely, fish in the car prank... loved it so much had to try it on one of my buddies.. he didnt' find it for 2 weeks. I stuck it up under the springs of his seat.. he did the same thing with Air fresheners.. still think about it and BUST UP!!!!

The outtakes for sure. Burgess Meredith was a hoot...  Heck everyone in the movie was excellent.  Funny how all on this board are relating to that movie. An all time classic.

I like Sophia Loren in the red dress,,,,oooolala....At 61 then, she was still hot in that red dress

I also like it when Sophia Loren and Walter Matthau are hunting for worms....
And they fall down, she say Holy Moly and he says Mama Meya....

Now if anyone remembers "Out To Sea" in 1997, where Jack and Walter go on a ship. Diane Cannon at the age of 60 then, still had a set of firecracker hot legs in a danceing scene.

Now for my favorite part in Grumpy Old Men, the 1st movie. When Walter is trying to stab Jack Lemon with a frozen walleye and the dad breaks them up and I think he says...." Dam kids, can live withem, can't killem "
