Assume when your jig pole is in the neutral position, you are about a foot off bottom.

Does anyone know what the plus and minus arrows do?  From what I can tell you overheat when you run and the bar goes up.  It would be nice if that bar was a vertical flasher instead!!!!  Grin

Go back to the settings and select English again. If this doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall the game.

Wow--downloaded the game yesterday and I am hooked. Won the short cup--working on the medium level now. My six year old sits right by when I play--she gets to pick the maggot color we use and she loves it!

Loose translations of Propilkki lakes:
Rautupuro = ArcticCharrBrook
Iso-Ruuhijärvi = Big-PuntLake
Lehmilampi = CowPond
Taivallampi = WanderPond
Saarijärvi = IslandLake
Linlonlahti = LinlosBay
Niemisjärvet = NiemisLakes
Siikakoski = WhitefishRapids
Jormuanlahti = JormuasBay
Särkijärvi = RoachLake
And then new lakes from next version:
Hossalaislammet = HossalaisPonds
Kivijoki = StoneRiver
Haapolahti = HaapoBay (AspenBay)
Siikavalkeinen = WhitefishWhitey

Few tips for the game:
You can zoom with mouse wheel.

As you maybe have noticed, there are two grips on the rod: mouse left; "wrist grip", and mouse right; "elbow grip".
Take grip with mouse left and pull the tip of rod deep into hole and then keep mouse left and press mouse right.
Lift rod to upper side of screen and pull it back to the hole. That way you can combine wrist and elbow grips.

When you are moving on ice to look a place to drill a hole and get near the drilling place, just right click the place where you want to drill a hole. Now the arrow ring is red and when you get there, drilling is automatic.

If you want to roll weather window (under digital clock) or fish/competition window (right from analog clock),
simply right click them.

If maggot need to change to same color maggot, right click the hook/maggot window.

I hope that these little hints help even a littlebit.

Great hints Karib, we really appreciate them. Thanks and welcome to Iceshanty!! You might want to take a look around the site, we have lots to offer. I have surfed around your site a bit, but it's hard when I don't know Finnish. Anyway, welcome to Iceshanty and thanks for the help with the great game.

Thank so much Mike, I appreciate that you approved me here!

I forgot few tips before, so here are these tips: if you are running to right of your screen, click that red arrow
in right top corner and the windows below will disappear. After drilling a hole these windows will be back, or click the arrow again.

F1 will hide the chat.

If you were focused on fishing and the chat did flow left away, press tab and it will come back.

And fishing in Lehmilampi, best lure is gold vertical with wings, second best gold, next silver hologram.
Allways with blue maggot. Best time of year is spring morning!
