jigging for walleyes

I have never jig for walleyes but, i am thinking about trying to jig for some walleye. Any advice or what to use?
A good finesse bass fisherman, makes a good walleye fisherman

you can't go wrong with a swedish pimple or a verticle jiggin rapala. both work great, but its hard to beat live bait. if the fish are finicky i like to get up with crappie minnows and bobbers, then just jig them every once in a while.
