I am planning a trip to Bath, Maine aera for those big smelt.  Has anybody had success this season?  Also is there any ice in those brackish inlets?

Is there any ice on the river?  I called Jimmy Worthingtons last week and he said the river wasnt closed up yet so no shacks were out. Then of course we had all that rain and i am sure that made the river rage and made it harder for ice to form. I was wondering were you go in Bath? Hit the smelts good a few years ago then gave it up for a few. Now that i am back in Maine i plan to hit the smelt camps a couple times.
Good Luck to yah!!
