Does anyone on here build there own rods? Im looking at this handle, curious if the bottom end screws off so a spinning reel can be inserted then tightened over that? Not sure as Ive never built or customized rods before. Thanks

I would assume that the top is what screw off to attach the reel. email Jann's or call and ask for their rod building dept. I have called and they are very helpful.

The top 1/3 of that will unscrew and be the lock nut on your reel seat.
