4.5” Fin-Bore III

I plan on purchasing a 4.5” Fin-Bore III Pro-Series auger for the upcoming ice season. I’d like to use it primarily as a hand auger but would also like to have the option of attaching it to my cordless drill when the ice gets thicker. Since this auger folds, I’m wondering if a standard ice auger drill adapter will work. Also, I’m wondering if it’d be possible to attach this auger to a Clam Plate with an auger extension.

I know the lazer style will work as will the frabill with curved blades. A folding one may be more of a headache to add the clam plate too. The 2 piece goes on perfect
