Out again today, caught a few trout. Ice is good drove out on the quad. Gonna head out again next weekend. It's not over yet!

yeah it has to be getting fairly sketchy up there now. We might head out this weekend too, have some buds with cabins at whelan bay. If you see some guys in a white with black stripe f150 or red extended cab chevy give us a wave. Don't imagine there'll be many people out

Well, it's finally over. Went out for the last time today, fishing was quite slow only iced one trout. Still able to quad out but ice is starting to degrade and won't be safe by next weekend likely. See you in the fall, have a good summer.

Getting out for the last time of the season on April 30th would be a dream come true for me.  The latest I was ever out on the ice was April 14th which is a rarity, normally we're done by April 1st here.

What was it 3-4 ish years ago a bunch of us ice fished opening day in may last mountian was still locked up.
