How long til the smelt start to run? Ready for the annual trip to camp, hoping for a better year than last.

I would think anytime now. I watch a couple local creeks for suckers. They seem to be a good sign of smelt running. Have not seen any as of yesterday. Good luck. I am about ready to just give up on them. I wish I knew what happened to change their spawning habits.  Steve
