Long Island bridge

Has any one been by the long Island bridge? Was wondering if the Ice was still locked in up there? Any response would be appreciated   Thanks and be safe

I was there last Sunday.   If you're looking to fish from the bridge on the opener there's enough water to cast into.  If you're lookin to icefish I'd be very careful.    Moving water scares me

I heard that it's supposedly unsafe, maybe 19 mile might be safer down the stretch?

Thank you guys for the info, looks like it will be boat time, for most of the Big lake, thanks again,  l  will stick to the North end   tight lines

19 Mile Bay should have safe ice through the end of the month... but be careful and check as you go as always.
