Traps or rods?

Looking to wet a line somewhere and somehow this wkd....anybody know if there's any open water at comet or do I still need to bring the tip ups?   Haven't had the chance to get up that way to check recently.

Think about where you will be going, whether you will find safe ice or not, and how much gear you will be bringing.

Then decide to stay home and watch tv...

Actually, if the weather cooperates, it could be a nice weekend for some open water fishing here.

Ok thanks....that was kinda the answer I was looking for.   Just looking to wet a line somehow this wkd.   Most of my time is spent up in the lakes region of Nh where there's over a foot of ice in my area.  Hate to miss a weekend in late March on the ice but fatherly duties call sometimes.
