Sunapee ice
« on: Mar 16, 2017, 05:19 PM »
May be a long shot, but just curious if anybody knows of any solid edges to get on sunapee? I know the state beach was busted up pretty hard a couple weeks ago but the main ice was still fine. Any info is appreciated.

Went skiing Monday at Sunapee. The lake had a lot of open water and the edges were gone. Snow will have made it very iffy. Hope this helps.

I haven't been by recently but Dewey Beach may still be a possibility for access.

Dewey beach HAD OPEN WATER A COUPLE OF 100 FEET FROM SHORE...GUY HAD TO SKIM HIS BOB HOUSE ACROSS THE WATER TO GET IT OFF. sorry about the caps, but im not going back and retyping it LOL I hit the key by accident.

So yeah, I don't think Dewey Beach is any good.

You could come down and fish Newfound in the morning and then hit the Get Together at noon for the BBQ.  ;)

Sounds like the right plan to me Keith!

I'll be at baseball all day, but Big Jim will be representing the Merrimack crew again.
