new ice

Took a a trip today to find some crazy march ice, that was not expected. Found most of the lakes I checked locked up and even walked out on a few. I'm not done, will be fishing Sunday. These temps will be all good for me, just need a plank. I am a crazy guy, first man on last man off. Not saying anyone should try and get out, but there may be ice if you look for it.

Ice on the lake I live on in central Ma. has gone from open to about 3" over the last week and the wind blew off most of the snow. That is a solid 3" of good ice and much cold weather still coming!
