Has anybody seen the conditions on the south side of the Crown Point bridge? I did really good on perch and lakers there right before the warm spell and want to see if I can get back onto the ice or if I have to go up North this weekend.

I cant see any of that ice being safe whatsoever. Especially with the current ripping through there after all the rain. Im surprised its not all open water.

I drove by there today looking for open water. I didn't even think to check the ice. It didn't look like anything I'd want to walk on. Plenty of water on top of the ice.

I went by there on Saturday and there was nothing but waves except close to shore and that was getting beat up.

Nice. Got any pic? The next best thing if not fishing your self is seeing someones successful trips.

I'm might have to take a trip next to fish out of the kayak next week after work. Day light saving change will give me plenty of time.
