I almost bought one due to my deep and abiding love for my old Pmax 175. I'm sure it's a nice unit and works just fine, but for 20 bucks more the Striker 4 blows it out of the water in both features and performance so I went that way instead. The Pmax 4 should show you your jig and fish just fine but the scroll speed is slow, there's only 10 settings for gain, no amplitude scope, and there's no option for an ice ducer. They are very simple units with the barest of bare bones features, but that's actually kind of nice as there's not much to waste time fiddling with.
