Happiness is having the time, money, strength and health to keep doing what I'm doing.
That means fishing, hiking, fishing, watching sports (when I can't fish or hike) and inviting others to partake of said enjoyments.
I already accomplished one life goal, which was to be as active in my 40's as I was in my 20's.
Now I'm working on more "adult" goals, but equally as challenging.
My ultimate goal will be to have enlightened others to not follow in my footsteps, but to seek their own path through life and pursue it in their own way.
I only hope that when my time comes, I have one heck of a funeral, as I will want it to be a life-affirming event more than a sorrowful passing event.
But back to the happiness aspect....I am a firm believer of not dwelling too much on negative things, and focusing on positives.
(Not an easy thing for a person with a real good memory.)
