Just got back from Devils Lake, ND.  Stayed at Woodland Resort and used the Perch Patrol guide service.  Another excellent trip.  Buckets of jumbo perch and walleyes.  Our guide worked his tail off to put us on fish every day.  Couldn't be happier.  This was our second year and was better then last year.  Will go again next year.  Woodland Resort is a five star facility.

My wife and I were there last year (same resort and guide service) and we had great time too along with catching a good amount of fish. That said, I wouldn't expect everyone to have the same experience only because there are days that the fish just don't want to cooperate. On these days, as long as the guide shows effort in trying to get you on fish, that is all you can ask

I talked to some guys who made 2 trips for perch to ND this winter and both times never caught a perch. I guess it is hit or miss.
