Anyone know the ice thickness at the head of the bay between L'Anse and Baraga?   I fish out from the Willow Trees (parking lot next to the lake between the two towns).  I've heard some are fishing on the L'Anse side of the lake down the Skanee Road a ways, but I'm not interested in that area.   I'm targeting the jumbo perch in the area I am asking about off the willow trees about 3/10 of a mile from shore.  Anyone?

  • Safety first. The fish will wait!
