Chamberlain/nugents
« on: Feb 27, 2017, 09:05 AM »
Hey guys heading up to the farmhouse this weekend. Does anyone have pictures of it? Also supposed to be windy was thinking of.setting up at the northern end of the lake to stay out of the wind. Any advice or tips would be helpful

Dont fish north of the red markers. I have pictures somewhere of the farm but not on this phone. What are you looking for out of the pictures?

They have about everything you need in camp, cooking supplies, fridge, oven, sink (buckets of water). Id recommend extra lighting for the downstairs area, may have been the beers but i thought the lighting was poor. Nothing off the wall i can think of. We bring a 12 volt battery to keep things charged. Take a pillow and sleeping bag.

If you go to images on thier site, picture 21 in the slides is the farm. Also im seeing there will be a WNW wind saturday, you can fish in front of the farm and the Peninsula there should keep you out of the wind. Fishing is not the best there but we have caught a little of everything out front. Im not sure what you guys have for sleds but im guessing the traveling will be typical, slush.

Anyone know the conditions on Golden/Telos Road? We are headed in Thursday. Looks like they are getting a mix then snow. Wondering if its a skating rink right now. Tomorrows warm weather could help or hurt that.

Did any of the snow squalls yesterday put some lube on the ice? I'm guessing even if it did it might've blown off. Bring skates?

You can use a 4 wheeler now because of no snow on the ice, but when there is snow you can not,
