I am hopefully heading up to Deschambeault (Bloomfields) next weekend and would appreciate any information regarding Lake access etc. Haven't seen much posted this year so any info would be great. Thank you

Lake has about 2-5 inchs of snow and a lot of bare ice... portages are basically a little packed snow with glare ice in a lot of areas.... very hard on slides, but still doable. Fishing was average

Thank you for the info JackEye,it's greatly appreciated. Looks like the sleds can stay home and the truck will easily do it. Thanks again

There are plowed roads from Bloomfields that will get you around the lake. We decided not to take the sleds there on Saturday and were happy with our decision. Fishing was decent with most action between 7:30 - 11:00 am.
