Adirondacks would be your best bet.

Hoping to hit Sacandaga Lake or Indian next weekend. Maybe Lewey. Or even travel to Schroon for the contest. Not sure if Sacandaga Res will be accessible.

I would imagine it's even getting sketchy up there after this warm weather and all the rain

Black will be good again by next weekend. Was on it yesterday.10 inches of ice, 2 inches of tjat ten was black ice. Chapman's is pretty good if you call ahead. They will let you know if its fishable or not. Forecast is looking good for up north still.

it is possible things will be okay up here again by next weekend but certainly not a sure thing. 50 on Tuesday and 60 on Wednesday with rain will have brought water levels even higher than they are currently and the shorelines are going fast.

The only sure things is to make a drive and check it out yourself as I am going to do this Sat 3/4. What else you got to do
Maybe turkey scouting or looking for antler drops.
