First Laker and Eskimo Help
« on: Feb 22, 2017, 08:42 AM »
So one of my boys caught his first Winni Laker!

Gave the new flasher a workout as well

The bad news is I pulled the chord out of the recoil on my auger. Hosed up the inside plastic parts pretty bad. Was wondering if any one knows of a place that may stock parts? Need to buy a new recoil and Tecumseh parts won't fit as it is newer Eskimo. Any help would be appreciated!

Nice laker! I don't know about the auger though. The best bet would be to talk to AJ or go to any other ice fishing retailer. They'll probably have spare parts lying around or give you referrals

Nice laker!
Eskimo's website has a dealer locator, that'll be a good place to find places to call for parts.

Thanks so much for the replies- I should have clarified, I spoke to Eskimo yesterday. Problem is, no next day shipping and two day was almost $40. I figured if I could find locally I may get quicker and no shipping. Have made some calls to the suggested people. Looks like only option is Eskimo/pay crazy shipping.

On a positive note, none of our holes are freeezing over so game on 🙂

Give Dag's a call (sponsor on the Maine board).... I personally have not had dealings with them but have heard and ready very good feedback about them hear and other places, and they are an authorized Eskimo dealer/service location.

Good luck

Great pic... A boy, his dog, and a nice catch... tough to beat that one.

Straighten out a hook on a freshwater jighead and try to catch the rope...saved me a ton of time and effort on my Nils cord broke.
