HT Polar Therm Tip-Up Problems
« on: Feb 22, 2017, 08:42 AM »
I added a few HT Polar Therm Tip-Ups to my arsenal last year, but in just one season I have broken the antenna flag on two of them without much abuse. They are weak because they are hollow. Don't love that design. Any suggestions on fixing the antenna flag? I can't seem to find replacement parts online. Thanks!!

Probaly drill out and put a stronger anchor rod for flag spring ring

replace it with a Heritage laker flag, or a Beaver Dam flag.

snap off all but the bottom 2 sections of the antenna and glue the flag back on.

I like Wolley's idea, but yes we carry replacement flags for heritage and beaver dam.

If its just the flag .Colored duck tape is a very good option.

I went ahead and did what Wolley suggested. Good call with that. We are heading up to Long on Wednesday and will probably be stopping in the shop for some bait on the way up so may just pick up a couple replacements anyway. Thanks!
