hoping to get out one last time this year and am willing to go north for it just trying to see how far north i will have to go? Any ice info please?

We fished houghten lake last weekend 20+ inches people where still driving trucks all over sun. Mark

Just fished long lake in northern Clare county Tuesday morning. Still 12 to 13 inches but also big spearing and runoff holes out there. Be safe and bring your spud. Shorelines were not blown out yet. Only the diehards will fish now.
