Cold Stream pond
« on: Feb 21, 2017, 02:26 PM »
My son has convinced a buddy and myself to join him in an outing to Cold stream pond, in two weekends, when I go to pick him up from college. Was wondering if the snow you guys got will make this an impossible walk?   I would like to jig for lakers since its something I'm comfortable with any advice on that method such as lures  ie. metal or plastic?  I greatly appreciate it , its an interesting turn of events when you're kid is taking you fishing...:)

A lot can change in 2 weeks but with the current weather and no additional snow accumulation you'll be able to walk easily.

Walking in our area (Bangor/Enfield area) should be pretty ok by then provided no more blizzards blow up. As for what the bite on at Cold Stream...Beats me, its not been a lucky spot for me.

Son was on ice today and wind pushed several inches of water their way. If anyone gets on the ice in a day or two and can provide a report it would be greatly appreciated.   Trying to determine plans for next weekend... thank you!
